D C TRAINING are pleased to announce the opening of their new Training Centre in Napoleon Business Park, Ascot Drive, Derby.
The centre will be offering Counter Balance and Reach Truck Training as well as First Aid At Work, Aluminum Tower Scaffolding Training and Abrasive Wheel Training.
In addition, delegates will have opportunity to train as Fork Lift Truck instructors.
These course will be held on a regular basis at the new centre.

Pedestrian Stacker Truck Training
Pedestrian Truck training for candidates who have little or no experience. National or In-House certification is available.
Course Objective
The trainee will be expected to have attained a level of operational skill which will comply with the HSE code of practice L117
Course Content
• Principle of lifting
• Battery care
• Stability factors
• Principles of the truck
• Steering operations (forward and reverse)
• Steering operations (confined/open areas)
• Picking up, putting down, transporting pallets/ loads
• Stacking and de-stacking loads at high, eye and low level
• Assessment
• Usage in safety harness
• Review of new and old legislation
• Health and safety at work act 1974
• Code of practice
Ratio
Maximum 3 Trainees per instructor per truck.
Duration
1 to 2 days dependent on experience.
